The EAC-Center for Late Ancient Studies often sponsors an annual graduate symposium that brings speakers from across the field of late ancient studies to Duke’s campus.
Save the date: EAC-CLAS will host a graduate student symposium on April 12th, 2024, “Performing the Sacred: Soundscapes and Senses in the Late Ancient and Medieval World,” featuring Rebecca Maloy and Laura Lieber. The panel discussion will begin at 2:30pm in the Holsti-Anderson Family Assembly Room, located on the first floor of Rubenstein Library. Graduate students are invited to join the speakers for lunch at noon.
